MCYM is looking for people that love Christ and have a heart for teenagers of military parents- Join over 60 other staff worldwide that focus on ministry to military third culture kids. What a great way to serve God and this country in a very tangible way.

Staff openings vary almost daily as God moves His people in and out of ministries all over the world through MCYM. Positions are available in Europe, Japan, Korea, and Stateside. Please see location listings or our web site for up to date openings.

There are three position types always available


Community Director:
In this position, you will administer and lead hands-on middle and high-school Christian youth programs as part of the base chapel ministry program. Ecumenically focused and outreach oriented. As the Community Director you would be responsible for overall community outreach to "un-churched teens" and discipleship to Christian teens living on various military installations.

Associate Staff:
You will work side-by-side with a Community Director, receiving direction and training while you minister through camps, clubs, Bible studies, service projects and unstructured "hanging out" time. You are an important role model for teens, setting a personal example of living for Jesus Christ.

Summer or Semester Trainee (8-16 weeks) or Intern (4-12 Months or PT):
If you are a high school graduate (must have been out of high school for one year) wanting to experience first-hand the challenges and rewards of youth ministry, this is the position for you. You will serve under a Staff person and receive direction and training while you minister through camps, clubs, Bible studies, service projects and unstructured "hanging out" time. As an intern, you are an important role model for teens, setting a personal example of living for Jesus Christ.

Ministry includes: weekly large group outreach meetings, small group Bible studies, relational outreach in community, camps, service projects, training volunteer leaders all under the supervision of the Military appointed Chaplain.

Community Directors:
As an applicant for the CD position, MCYM prefers you to have a bachelor's degree and at least three- five years of experience in youth ministry. Both a competitive salary and benefits package are offered, and a three-year commitment and some fund-raising are required. Young Life and Youth for Christ are MCYM's two major partners in this ministry opportunity.

Associate Staff:
As an applicant for the Associate staff position, MCYM prefers you to have a bachelor's degree. A three-year commitment and some fundraising is also required.

Summer or Semester Trainee (8-16 weeks) or Intern (4-12 Months or PT):
A desire to love and serve youth is an absolute prerequisite for this position, as this is an intense ministry, not a vacation. Semester credit can be coordinated prior to embarking into the field. Summer and semester interns raise all of their own support.
